Part 2
The benefits of study groups
Group study offers other advantages in addition to gaining a deeper understanding of class material.  These include the opportunity to: reinforce note talking. If you are AP Biology notes are unclear, you can ask a member of your study group to help you fill the gaps. Share talent. Each person brings different strengths, such as original skills, the ability to stick to a task capacity for memorization.
Cover more ground. Group members may be able to solve a calculus problem together than none would have solved alone. Benefit from support systems. Members often have common goals, such as good grades. Each person works affect the other members, which result in making members supportive of one another. Socialize. It’s more fun to study with others; the give-and-take makes it more interesting. And because it’s more fun, you spend more time studying.

Goals
“In life as in football, you won’t go very far, unless you know where the goalposts are.”
-Arnold Glasgow
While I myself do not agree with the whole having a “Goal” mindset I can see why this system takes people far. Having goals gives you something to strive for so you can just be out there and just work for what you want. Goals keep one distracted from falling into nothingness, they are what keep the mind set and free from diversion. Without goals the human race would not have all its advances in technology take me for instance I am not one to set goals I am one who lives as life passes by I make it all up as I go along and that doesn’t mean I will fall into nothingness, maybe I’ll make it far into the game who knows, but someone who has goals fights for that goal he may have and will succeed.

Working together helps everyone
You may have noticed that when you’re explaining something you’ve learned to a friend, you begin to understand it better yourself. This happens because, when you explain an idea, you need to think more deeply about it.
The same principles make studying groups useful. Studying with others in small groups is helpful because you:
·       Think out loud.
·       Share ideas
• Learn from one another.

In an effective study group, you and other students hash out lesson material together—explaining concepts, arguing about them, figuring out why one person’s answer differs from another’s—and in the process, you most likely learn  more than you have studying by yourself.

Walk the talk

Walk the talk
When going about your life you must know what to do and what not to do. In life one should be honest, courageous, respectful, and one must also have integrity. When going about life these qualities are some of the most helpful, they will get you further than you can imagine. If one were to say that they wished to be something in life they can’t just say it they must act on it for if it is not them who works on then who? It is being able to walk the walk that will make you successful.

“Nobody ever did, or ever will, escape the consequences of his choice.”
-Albert A. Montapert
In life there are many things that one can escape but the consequences for ones actions is something no mortal man could ever escape. When one chooses an action there will always be a reply to that action, as no action goes unchained in life. If one so chooses to commit murder he will go to prison if he is caught, but if he isn’t caught then he will still remain a prisoner of his own guilty conscience.
