the importance of good sportsmanship

The Importance of Good Sportsmanship”

The importance of sportsmanship has always been to keep games clean and respectful. The rude manners of the players who do wrong have always put a bad name on the sport. Various things have been done to show poor sportsmanship like:

· The usage of vulgar language

· Displays of racism

· Taunts to opposing teams to mock the dead

Rival games have always been aggravated games by players determined to win but forget about the good in sportsmanship. To keep peace within big nerve racking games refs always try to keep the players calm. Sportsmanship is easy to display and a friendly thing to show off. Very often do players get away with fouls and poor sportsmanship  but that does not make them better. The fulfillment of being a honest respectful person/player is always very satisfying. The best people all have one thing in common and that good sportsmanship.

Student Responsibility
Part 1

Student has the right to seize the responsibility for their own destiny and should be encouraged to do so. With every right comes responsibility!
1.   I have the responsibility to come to every class prepared to listen, to participate, and to learn.
2.   I have the responsibility to read the text carefully, nothing important idea and rephrasing concept in my own words.
3.   I have the responsibility to work example in the text word and those given in class.
4.   I have the responsibility to consult other students, the teacher, an assistant, and other resources whenever I need the extra help.
5.   I have the responsibility to understand that the teacher is not primarily responsible for making me understand, but that it is my job to study and to learn.
6.    I have the responsibility of keeping an open mind and trying to comprehend what the teacher is trying to get across.

Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement

“I am successful not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stands with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”

-Abraham Lincoln-

I agree with statement because one should choose to be around those who choose the right, not with those who wish to do bad.

student success

Student success

Part 1

Successful students exhibit a combination of successful attitudes attitude and behavior as well as intelligent capacity. Successful students

1.       Successful students are responsible and active. Successful students get involved in their studies, and education, and are active participants in it.

Responsibility means control. It’s the difference between leading and being led. Your own efforts control your grade. you earn the glory or deserve the blame, you make the choice. Active classroom participation improves grades without increasing study time. You can sit there , act bored , daydream, or sleep. Or, you can actively listen, think, question, and take notes like someone in charge of their learning experience either option costs one class period. However, the former method will require a large degree of additional work outside of class to achieve the same degree of learning the latter provides at one sitting. The choice is yours.

2.       Successful students have educational goals. Successful students have legitimate goals and and are motivated by what they represent in terms of their inspiration.
