In life one of the key aspects of the human mind is imagination. If one lacks imagination then he is nothing more than a prisoner in his own mind. To be able to imagine that is freedom, wings signify freedom as there is nothing more free than a bird flying high up in the sky with not a care in the world. Men must have an imagination for without it we would nothing more than mindless objects.
