To be alone is better than having people around you that are doing drugs, drinking alcohol, be violent and so on. To be around people that choose the wrong is a choice that one should not choose if they are given the choice. Bad people will always bring you down and being alone you have the time to allow yourself to think about the ways you can allow yourself to be a good person and how you can be successful.
