Student success statement

Student success statement “Character is higher than intellect.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson Ralph is trying to say that you would be better off having good character rather than intellect. Character will lead you to friends and respect from the world. I myself do not agree with this as I believe that intelligence is the one key to a better world. I however do understand what is being taught in this quote. To have good character is what will lead you to a world of joy.
